Buster's a therapy dog who needs to take matters into his own paws to help a boy understand his own anxiety even if it means breaking a few rules.

Dog Man and Petey face their biggest challenges yet in the tenth Dog Man book from worldwide bestselling author and illustrator Dav Pilkey.
Dog Man is down on his luck, Petey confronts his not so purr-fect past, and Grampa is up to no good. The world is spinning out of control as new villains spill into town. Everything seems dark and full of despair. But hope is not lost.
Thummler’s illustrations and story line perfectly capture teen life. Gorgeous color tones and slight gestures bring the book to life. I may be partial to the small town feel of her work. I find that being from a small town in PA, there is so much in her stories that I can personally connect to. Not the ghosts, too bad, but the angst of trying to fit in, being scared to speak up, not wanting to be different, how even the bullies have drama they are hiding from.
This book is a subtle and delicate handling of the very serious topics of bullying and suicide. Highly recommended by Kristine.
