September 17, Wordless Picture Books

I've been waiting to write about wordless picture books until Stormy by Guojing came out today. Stormy has a beautiful story with never a written word. April 19, Coffee with the Authors Recap

April 19, Event Recaps

Hi again! We have been very busy at the store this month!

Some of the wonderful poems by our local students

April 4, Happy Poetry Month

April is Poetry Month!

We have upcoming poetry events at the store--a YA Open Mic next Wednesday, and a month long raffle for children under the age of 12. More details here

Today though I wanted to highlight some poetry titles we have in the store.

March 28 Author Events

Over the past week we have had a number of different author events. Two of which were in partnership with Hingham Public Library. We love working with our local libraries to help bring authors or books to their patrons. Sometimes the events you might see us at are completely the hard work of your lovely librarians and we're just there to sell books, and sometimes we reach out to the libraries to ask if they're interested in hosting a particular author and providing the space.

March 14 Blog

Welcome to Buttonwood's Blog

Hi everyone! This is a new feature for us and something of an experiment, but we wanted to engage with our customers on a new level. We're hoping to use our blog to give some store updates, behind the scenes snippets, and recap some of our events for those who could not attend.

Speaking of Event Recaps...
